Aaron C. Jeffery (born 1970) is a Logie Award winning New Zealand-Australian actor.
Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of 17 and studied acting at NIDA. He graduated in 1993 and began his television career on the children's programme Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his role of Alex Ryan on the drama McLeod's Daughters, which will end its run after the 2008 season. He also starred in the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama series.
In late 2005, Jeffery pled guilty in a South Australian court to assaulting and threatening to kill his then-wife. Jeffery escaped a potential 10-year jail term and was released on a 12-month good behaviour bond with no conviction recorded.
After the assault charges in 2005, Jeffery and his then-wife, with whom he has one daughter, divorced. He then dated his McLeods co-star Michelle Langstone, but the relationship ended in 2006 when Jeffery moved to Sydney to be closer to his daughter. He is currently rumoured to be linked to actress Peta Wilson.
In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor in a Drama Series for his role on McLeod's Daughters.
