www.reel.com - : A dozen years ago, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock took Speed, an action movie about a deranged bomber hell-bent on blowing up an L.A. city bus, and turned up the heat. Reeves was Jack, the cop trying to defuse the situation; Bullock was Annie, a plucky passenger who takes the wheel of the bus. It was hard to decide which was more satisfying: the story's suspenseful denouement or the romance that grew between Jack and Annie. The actors shared a delicious chemistry that begged to be repeated, except Reeves wisely bailed on the horrid Speed 2: Cruise Control.
