The 3D effects were about the only positive I took from the theater, but a lot of the motion was stiff (especially the horses and the close-up facial expressions). I can not go back in time and avoid exposing my family to this travesty of one of Western Civilization's oldest and noblest epic poems, but you can. Please don't waste your time or money. | | | | Reply | | | haren says @ Monday - December 03,2007
If you're looking for a fun family chick-flick, this is not your movie. I vaguely remember the book and the movie does add some extra stuff that may not entirely be true. | | | | Reply | | | lolypopcutie says @ Monday - December 03,2007
I don't usually write reviews but this movie was truly entertaining. I enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend the 3d version. | | | | Reply | | | laymeaug69 says @ Saturday - November 24,2007
A fantastic 3D movie based on literature poem. All the performers done their job well. | | | | Reply | | | backs says @ Friday - November 23,2007
I love the story, actors, music, visuals & technology. This is a story of pride, adventure, hubris and redemption. It's a amazing movie. | | | | Reply | | | tinydancer98 says @ Thursday - November 22,2007
It was a good movie. I never lost interest for a long movie. The characters and visuals were excellent. | | | | Reply | | | natcrawshaw says @ Thursday - November 22,2007
Beowulf is just horrible, boring and long movie. The movie is quite different from the original storyline of the poem. | | | | Reply | | | samiya147 says @ Tuesday - November 20,2007
I really liked Beowulf, because it is based on a literature poem, and the presentation of the hole story is amazing. | | | | Reply | | | belkaLoLo says @ Tuesday - November 20,2007
This is not at all a good movie. Its like an adult cartoon and board me during most of it. | | | | Reply | | | loree.chase says @ Tuesday - November 20,2007
I am impressed with the 3D technology of this movie. The animation represents some of the best there is. This is the best technically advanced movie of the year. | | | | Reply | | |
