Simon Cowell: Launches talent hunt through YouTube
Top television personality Simon Cowell has announced his talent competition via YouTube.
Named 'You Generation', this competition has been trailed by a video showing Cowell surprising young people filming their video audition.
"The You Generation is the world's first global audition, giving you the chance to show off your skills and win amazing prizes, simply by uploading a video," the description explained.
"Get ready for 20th March and follow us."
This new video opens by claiming: "Online, your talent can easily get lost... but that depends on who is watching."
For this Youtube competition, Syco is teaming up with YouTube, which is thought to be a year-long contest open to people exhibiting various types of talent.
