 Kelsey Grammer: Released from hospital
Famous actor Kelsey Grammer has at last shown improvement of health. He has been released from a hospital at New York. Almost one week ago, he checked in about one week ago when after a recent heart attack. This bit of information has been put forth by his spokesman Stan Rosenfield on Tuesday.
"Kelsey Grammer is out of the hospital, feeling great and about to resume normal activities at home.” His spokesman has said this in a statement.
"He and his wife Camille want to thank everyone who expressed concern. They appreciated the kind words," added the same source
However when asked to tell things in details, Rosenfield has declined to say anything.
Kelsey Grammer, who played the snooty but lovable psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on long-running NBC comedy "Frasier," entered the hospital on Monday last week after feeling faint.
In late May, he suffered chest pains while paddle-boarding with his wife in Hawaii, where they have a home. After that he was admitted to a hospital where it was diagnosed that he suffered from a heart attack. On June 4 he got released.
Kelsey Grammer first gained popularity with his portrayal of the character Frasier Crane on the famous NBC sitcom titled "Cheers," which continued from 1982 to 1993. A spin-off, "Frasier," was actually centered on the lives of Crane, his brother, father and co-workers. It ran from 1993 to 2004 and helped Grammer to grab 4 Emmy awards and quite a more awards and nominations as well.
Recently Grammer had been out in public for the promotion of his newly released movie called “Swing Vote," which has made its debut in theaters on last Friday.
Kelsey Grammer's heart attack came 3 weeks after he learned that the Fox network had canceled his latest TV show called “Back to You," where he has portrayed a haughty, womanizing TV news anchor. The series only made it for one season. |
