 Christina Applegate: Tops People's 'Most Beautiful 2009' list
Thirty seven year old actress Christina Applegate topped People magazine's Most Beautiful People 2009 list. On Wednesday the news was revealed.
Last year The Samantha Who? star was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery. She said, "It's a decision that you make to save your life."
However she noted one positive effect. She said, "You have to get through the physical transformations, then buck up, go to work and try to be the normal, happy Christina for everyone around you."
Christina Applegate come out ahead of forty two year old actress Halle Berry, R&B star Ciara, 23, actor Zac Efron, 21, and Christina Aguilera, 28.
Other celebrities included in the list are Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto, actor Channing Tatum, Twilight star Robert Pattinson, country singer Taylor Swift, First Lady Michelle Obama and actress Angelina Jolie.
