 Melissa Rycroft: Shoots down playboy rumors
One of the craziest rumor Melissa Rycroft has ever heard about herself?
"That I was doing Playboy!" she tells Usmagazine.com. "Not true. My father would kill me! Not only would I never do it, my father would never look at me the same ever again!"
As she prepares for next week's Dancing With the Stars finale, she says she is trying not to put any pressure on herself.
"I'm completely excited because I've got Tony [Dovolani, her partner] to completely understand the word 'fun,'" she tells Us. "We're going to go out and have fun."
Rycroft, who was famously dumped by Bachelor Jason Mesnick, says she is just thrilled at how far she's come.
"Eleven weeks ago, I was sitting in my cubicle doing Power Point presentations," she says. "I don't think that anybody could have scripted that I was going to be here."
"I can't fathom right now if I actually win," she goes on. "I don't know what's going to happen to me if I actually win the trophy. I mean, there's a place on my mantel for it!"
Her post-DWTS plans?
"I'm going on vacation!" she says. "I'm turning off my cell phone. I'm not turning on the radio or the TV, but I'm going back home [to Dallas] for a little bit."
Rycroft, who is now dating Tye Strickland, also says she never thinks of ex Mesnick.
Says the dancer, "I know I'm happy in my life and my situation."
