Jennifer Love Hewitt has told her boyfriend to propose her within the next year.

Sources have thrown light on this news of Jennifer Love Hewitt. According to them , the 'Ghost Whisperer' actress , who broke off relationship from fiance Ross McCall last year, has been  keen to marry co-star Jamie Kennedy and also given him a deadline for popping up the question of marriage.

She told a famous radio channel of United States, "A timeline? By this time next year, if we're not planning something, then there's a situation."

Jennifer denied reports that the couple, who started dating earlier this year, had already got engaged after they were spotted at a Las Vegas jewelers busy in buying a small ring.

She said, "A rumour has come out that Jamie and I supposedly got engaged. He was like, 'No, no, no. That's not true!'

She further added, "I was like, 'God, would that be the worst thing in the world?! Excuse me, but just for a second, there's a line of people who would probably be OK with that.' "

Jennifer Love Hewitt has previously spoken about her love for thirty nine year old Jamie by claiming that  he made her the happiest she had ever been.

She remarked,  "We just make each other laugh and we're best friends. Even though we haven't been together for very long we are very much alike.

Love also said, "The fact he is so hilarious is what makes this relationship work. When you're really funny, there's nothing really bad that can happen. He is a realist and I am a dreamer."
