Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo split after dating for 3 years. Their representative confirmed the news on June 23, 2009.

"They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another", Minnillo's representative confirmed to People.

The 35 year old Nick Lachey is an an American pop singer, actor, producer, television host and television personality who rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees.

The 28 year old Vanessa Minnillo is an American television personality, television host, model and actress.

After Lachey's divorce from Jessica Simpson on June 30, 2006, Lachey released his album "What's Left Of Me" and Vanessa Minnillo starred in the video. Soon after, Lachey and Minnillo began dating.     

The couple officially started living together after purchasing an apartment in New York City's Atelier Condo Building in April 2007.

However, they supposedly ended thier relationship on good terms. A source said that they still care for one another and they are friends.
