Michael Jackson: LA police gearup for memorial
Thousands of fans from around the world are expected to attend Michael Jackson's memorial service at LA's Staples Centre on Tuesday morning.
Police said on Monday that the fans who will try to enter the venue of the King of Pop's funeral without a ticket will be dealt with strictly.
Officials have already warned fans, who have no ticket, to stay away from the star's memorial service otherwise they can face a hard response from police.
Police is expecting more than 250,000 people will cram onto the sidewalks outside the arena to pay their final respect to the singer.
According to different sources, Jackson is expected to be buried in a private family service in Los Angeles ahead of the memorial, but a family member declined to comment on that service.
Singers Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder will attend the memorial. Sports stars like Kobe Bryant and other celebrities such as Brooke Shields will also attend.
Big names in music such as Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Paul McCartney and Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson are expected to perform at the memorial service of Michael.
The memorial will be televised live on major U.S. networks, as well as streamed on the Internet.
