 Patrick Dempsey: Joins "Valentine's Day"
American actor and race car driver Patrick Dempsey has joined the cast of New Line's romantic comedy "Valentine's Day".
The other casts already included are Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Shirley MacLaine, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Emma Roberts and Hector Elizondo.
Patrick Dempsey is not a doctor, but he played the role of a doctor first in TV. Now he will play in movie.
The story centers on intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles break-up and make-up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentine's Day.
Dempsey will play a married obstetrician dating Garner's character on the sly, with her unaware of his status.
Patrick Dempsey is most well known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd on the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy". He has also appeared in several films, including Made of Honor, Freedom Writers, Sweet Home Alabama, The Emperor's Club and Enchanted.
