Eva Mendes: Joins Adam McKay's 'Other Guys'

Actress Eva Mendes has joined the cast of Adam McKay's upcoming comedy film, "The Other Guys".

Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton and Damon Wayans Jr. have signed on to the action-comedy. In the movie Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg will play cops.

Adam McKay and Chris Henchy wrote the screenplay for the movie, which is scheduled for an August 2010 release by Sony.

Eva Mendes will also be seen in the romantic drama "Last Night", scheduled for a March 2010 release. Michael Keaton just shepherded his directorial debut, "The Merry Gentleman", into theaters. He voiced Ken in "Toy Story 3", which hits theaters in June.

Damon Wayans Jr. was a writer, actor and story editor on his father's drama "My Wife and Kids". He also co-starred in the comedy "Dance Flick".
