Arnold Schwarzenegger: Signs an anti-paparazzi bill

Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed an anti-paparazzi bill to make it easier to sue against those medias who uses photos that intrude on celebrities' privacy.

A statement issued on Monday says that Schwarzenegger has signed a number of bills, including the amendment to a decade-old law that allows fines against paparazzi who illegally or offensively take photos or recordings.

The amended bill will permit to file lawsuit against media outlets that pay for and make the use of the materials they obtained illegally.

The amendment takes effect in January.
