'This Is It' tops U.S. box office
"Michael Jackson: This Is It ", the film about the Michael Jackson's final days, has topped the U.S. box office.
The film, which was released worldwide on 28 October, earned $21.3 million over the weekend, taking its five-day haul to $101 million.
The movie is made on rehearsals, interviews and backstage footage of the King of Pop as he prepared for his series of sold-out shows in London.
Low-budget horror "Paranormal Activity", which was on top position last week, slipped down to No. 2 with $16.5 million.
Gerard Butler action film "Law Abiding Citizen" rose one place from four to three making $7.3 million.
Romantic comedy "Couples Retreat" took fourth place with $6 million while horror sequel "Saw VI" fell three places to take fifth place with $5.6 million.
"This Is It" was the only new entry inside the top ten this week.
