 Rihanna: Speaks out about assault
ABC will air the first interview with Rihanna about Chris Brown's assault on her this week.
In an interview with Diana Sawyer, Rihanna said that this could happen to anyone. She also said, "Chris Brown was definitely my first big love".
R&B singer Chris Brown was sentenced to five years probation and community service in August for attacking Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February. He has since apologized for the assault several times.
Brown is serving his sentence and working on new music.
ABC said that the pop star's interview with Diane Sawyer will air on Thursday and Friday on "Good Morning America" and Friday evening on the news magazine "20/20".
The Barbadian singer Rihanna has released her new single, "Russian Roulette", on October 20, 2009. Her fourth studio album, "Rated R", will be released on November 23, 2009 by label Def Jam Records.
