 Michelle Obama: To appear on 'Iron Chef America'
First Lady Michelle Obama will appear on a White House-based episode of Food Network's "Iron Chef America". She will become the first presidential wife to appear on a reality TV series.
Mrs. Obama will appear as a guest on the show which features British cook Nigella Lawson as judge.
The two-hour event, which pits well-known chefs against each others, has been shot in late October. It will be aired in the New Year.
Participants were allowed to use whatever grow in the White House vegetable garden to help create the meals.
The First Lady's appearance in the show is to promote her campaign of healthy living.
The other judges include Olympic gold medalist Natalie Coughlin and actress Jane Seymour.
